* Work with Director of Development to identify and cultivate prospective individual donors
* Assist department with editing, fact checking and proofreading all materials
* Assist with general correspondence
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor?s degree and 3- 4 years of event planning and fundraising experience. The successful candidate will be extremely well organized, conscientious and detail-oriented, with excellent writing and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an established track record of successful event planning along with the ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects to meet assigned deadlines. Enthusiasm and imagination are essential for the role as is the flexibility to accommodate changing priorities, willingness to contribute to the Development office as a team player, and the ability to work well under pressure. Discretion and confidentiality in interactions involving BGC/Bard board members, donors, prospects, volunteers and staff are important.
